Tuesday SOL 12/22/15 - I'm ready
Yesterday, as I sat on the front porch basking in sunshine and warmth, I pondered all that still remains to be accomplished before our trip up north.
The presents are bought and wrapped
The cookies are baked
The cards are addressed and sent
The house is decorated
The suitcases are out and ready for packing
The Christmas music plays on and on
I'm ready
I'm truly ready to celebrate the birth of Our Savior and to be in the company of those that I love.
I pray that each of you will have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.

Merry Christmas, Judy, to you and your family. So often we get caught up in the materialism of Christmas that we forget the true meaning...the celebration of a birth. What better way to celebrate than with family.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you Judy. I love reading Slices now. So much happiness and so deserved. Enjoy!!!!

Sounds like you really have checked your list and are ready. Enjoy all those times with the family (those darling girls). Merry Christmas, Judy.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are more than ready Judy! Have a wonderful time celebrating with family!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing missing from the list was Max. I guess he's not too happy to see the suitcases. Isn't it a treat to be able to bask in sunshine this close to Christmas? Have a wonderful holiday with your loved ones!
