A week ago Monday, Michelle, I and the girls made the long road trip to Arkansas.  The girls were good little troopers the whole way.  This past week we've spend some fun times, some trying times, some noisy, some quiet. We've gone to the beach, playing in the sand, swallowing some lake water, running away from the waves. We've gone to the library for story time to learn about lobsters and make a lobster hat and to check out some books. We've gone to the park, running, screaming, sliding, swinging, riding the merry-go-round, playing on our scooters. We've gone to an indoor picnic to meet all of Grandma & Grandpa's friends at church. We've gone back to the library to listen to Ronald McDonald talk about ecology and do some magic tricks. We've gone to church and sat still for a whole hour with nary a peep. Max was so excited when he got back from his walk last Tuesday, so I thought it would be good for him to tell you what happened. My Dad's a real hero.   Last Tuesday (Dad's birthday), he took me for my walk.  We stopped briefly at our neighbor's house to chat with Tom who was working on his horse trailer.  Then we started up the hill, taking our usual leisurely walk - Dad lets me smell everything and do "my thing".  We got about 100 yards or more and heard a loud bang and then someone yelling for help.
