Michael Crichton has once again written a fast paced, exciting novel.  Interesting read about the airline industry and how the manufacturers investigate problems and accidents.  I think back on some of the flights I have taken and now wonder about the "air worthiness" of those airplanes.  But, as was stated in the book, it's safer to fly than to drive one...
