A week ago last Friday, we received a phone call from our realtor, actually two of them.  We were in Walmart shopping and missed both calls.  When we got into the car to head home, I noticed there were voice mails.  First call, "we want to show your house tomorrow".  No problem.  We have been ready. Second call, "Good news, we have an offer on your home!  Call me." Hubby and I looked at each other - OMG - can it be?  Who could it be?  Our thoughts went unsaid for a few minutes while we pondered that life changing phone call.  A quick call to the realtor, arranged a time to talk, still wondering which of the visitors were loving our house. We are so blessed here to have a two year college extension of Arkansas State University.  It's a beautiful campus with so much going on.  The past five years have brought many different cultural events to Mountain Home.  And this weekend was no different. We attended a concert entitled "Neil Berg's 101 Years of Broadway".  Excellent! The five performers have all performed these songs in the Broadway shows.  Neil Berg, along with a drummer and guitarist accompanied each singer.  Neil narrated in detail the Broadway shows and gave some history to create the backdrop for the music.  There were no costumes or elaborate settings, but as each song was performed, you felt like you were seeing the Broadway show. To say the least, IT'S BEEN A COUPLE OF VERY DIFFICULT WEEKS  for me!  Allow me to share what's happened. Three weeks ago, Mom woke me up for a nice nap and told me we were going for a car ride.  Now this means:  1.  Going to Carol & Jim's (but no blanket or food was packed); 2.  Going to the vet (ugh); or 3.  Going for a hair cut (another ugh).  I gave her the look that said "really, must I go?". But she insisted.  We drove and I watched to see which way she would turn.  Oh no, it's towards the vet and hair cut.  Drove a little further and another turn.  Well, I guess a hair cut is better than the vet.  I can handle it.  Besides having a bath will feel really good and it's getting warmer, so I need to get rid of some hair. Dad picked me up a noon and I got to get a good nap in before dinner. Then Friday came, Mom called again saying, "Let's go for a car ride".  Not again!  Now what?  Down...

It's so hard to believe that the girls are five years old already.  Where did these years go?  How can they be so big?  How can they be so smart and adorable and funny? We made a quick trip to Illinois to celebrate  M & P's birthday.  They were so excited - Mommy & Aunt Jen took them for a mani/pedi.  They really enjoyed the pampering as much as Mommy.  I was jealous that I didn't get there in time for some pampering of my own. Uncle Scotty grilled burgers and brats, G & G made potato salad and baked beans and then there were these delicious "Frozen" cupcakes with ice cream.  A feast to behold.  And THEN...  the gifts were brought out. There were American Girl dresses, a stroller, a Jeep, all sorts of accessories, a Kiwi Crate box filled with lots of super projects with the promise of a box each month for the next six months, and to top it all off, the promise of a trip to Disney World to be included with their summer...
