A well written crime mystery that kept me turning page after page. Rina & Peter were both likable characters whose family life was interwoven with the story. Hate crimes against people who have already experienced so much devastation are truly tragic. How can people be so "sick" and twisted in their minds that they destroy people and places of worship? But this was not just about the destroying a synagogue, but also about wealthy parents who wanted their children to get into the Ivy League colleges and they would do absolutely everything they could to achieve this goal. They relied on money, cheating and manipulating.
Good author (this is part of a series of books with Rina & Peter as the main characters). I will watch for more books written by Kellerman.
