SOL #8 – 3/8/12 Spring is Here!

It’s been a hot topic for slices, so I thought I’d add my feelings on this season.

Daffodils blooming
Bradford Pear Trees a mass of white
                        Forsythias turning yellow
                                    Grass starting to grow

A southern breeze blowing warm air
Trees with a tinge of green
                        Birds all aflutter
                                    Longer days

A time of new beginnings
            A time to be refreshed
                        A time to be thankful
A time to look to the future

Can it be?
Is it too soon to hope?

Spring is here!

  1. Wow - real signs of spring! I loved: "Trees with a tinge of green." Also liked how you moved from the obvious signs of spring to thinking about new beginnings, being refreshed, and looking ahead. A great reminder! (PS I wrote about spring too today! It is a hot topic!)

  3. You are a poet too! I love the way the lines stair step. I just noticed the Bradfords around us have also started blooming. Boom! Springing forward. I hope we don't have a snap of winter biting back. Very nice!
