This is a very different genre from what I usually read. It was an intriguing book because of the uniqueness of the subject. The author was able to create a sense of mystery about the characters and the the venue of the circus. The circus was in such an unusual setting (at night and only in black and white). The author put me inside the circus and the inner workings and yet she kept the mystery of it. It was a love story and more. I enjoyed it.
