I have not been a fan of Stephen King, but this book was recommended and sounded much different from his other books. So I bit the bullet and read it - all 844 pages. I was pleasantly surprised that I did like it. The first half of the book seemed to drag and I had trouble keeping at it, but I'm glad that I kept reading. It's scary to think that "if only" had been different, what our world would be like. Even though God wasn't mentioned, I do believe that it IS His plan. So, I say, "Don't mess with a good thing". A good story and even though our world is out of whack at the moment, the alternative could be much worse. I'd recommend this book, but be prepared to spend 2-3 weeks reading it.

Wow! You finished! Congrats on that big read. It sounds interesting, but I know it would take me so much longer to finish!!!
