Place: My recliner
Eating: A Lean Pocket (Hubby wasn't home to cook!)
Drinking: Water (didn't have any wine open)
Reading: Jackdaws by Ken Follett (can't put it down)
Listening to: The 6:00 p.m. news and weather (it can be so depressing)
Wishing: The rain would stop (maybe tomorrow)
Considering: Is this really what I want to write?
Planning: Creating some Christmas Cards for Operation Write Home
Thankful For: This writing community and for all those who teach.
Praying For: A dear friend who has cancer of the kidney and liver.

oh, I loved this post...I'm going to try it next week or maybe even with my Bible study tonight....we have just finished a study. Thank you for sharing Jackdaws and for being a part of the slice. Next summer maybe we can have a meet:) xo

Planning: To go and workout it's been part of my summer ;-)
Thankful: That I found cheap airfare so I can go and help my nephew move next month (we have never missed a move since he left for college some 8-9 years ago)
Praying: That all my scans (had them done yesterday) continue to be 100% clean
Thanks Judy...I will keep this in the back of my mid for the day that my mind is blank...but is it really?!
Just taking stock of where we are and what we are thinking creates a slice. I'm just back from a bike ride and collecting peaches in my backyard. Plan to eat a few of those in a few minutes. I'm hoping that the library has me on the list for Jackdaws, I love Follet's books. Maybe the rain has stopped for a few days. :-)

Judy, this is wonderful! I will have to try this one of these days! I am wishing that this summer would last a bit longer.....
