A freebie book for my Kindle and it was really good reading. The author made the characters come to life and I felt that I knew each one as the story progressed. The early 1900's were an interesting period of time following the war and enter prohibition and smuggling, family relations and destruction, and the classes were still very prominent. A good read. I'll look for other books by this author.
