SOLSC 3/3/14 - Embracing a Beautiful Sunrise
The morning we were getting ready to leave for our annual Florida vacation, we took a moment to look at the beautiful sunrise that appeared over the lake. When we first saw it, there were clouds on top, then a stripe of blue going across the middle and then more clouds beneath the blue. The sky had a multitude of colors with pinks, blues, purples and some orange and yellow thrown in. God gave us a beautiful morning to start our journey south. As we traveled that day, the clouds appeared to be divided horizontally with stripes of pinks and blues. Another one of God's blessings that I'm embracing. The pictures tell the rest of the story.
These pictures were taken looking towards the southeast from the front of our house.
And these pictures were taken looking northwest off of our back deck.

There is nothing quite as beautiful as the perfect sunrise. It looks as though you have captured in on film. (Not an easy task).....thank you for sharing....hoping I will catch one of my own on this brutally cold Monday morning.:-)
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking photos! I love starting the day with a gorgeous sunrise like this...and since the sky above me is gray & snow...I'm grateful I can see your view! Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I love the unexpected colors and patterns that appear. By the way, I love the new look of the blog.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful pictures. The latter ones remind me of a mixture of pink and blue cotton candy!
ReplyDeleteThese are like beautiful paintings, Judy.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful pictures! God seems to have great surprises in store for us when we look for them.. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is so beautiful! What a view from your home!
ReplyDeleteWe have books in common!
- I read "One Thousand Gifts". Incredible writing. So helpful.
- I am reading "Made to Crave" slowly. Lots to learn.
I could have one of your photos frames and hang on my wall. Then on days when it is gray and gloomy, I could experience a sunrise regarless!
ReplyDeleteWow those are amazing! I know that pictures don't usually do justice, but the sunrise looks fantastic in the photos! The colors and the puff of the clouds. I love a beautiful sunrise, but the moments slips away so fast and with our busy schedules we rarely see one.
