Tuesday SOL - 4/25/17 - Thinking about How Quickly Time Passes

Hubby and I were talking yesterday about

1) that he would be reaching a milestone birthday in another month
2) how old our kids and grandkids are
3) how quickly time passes

Where did the time go?  Weren't we only in our 30's, 40's, 50's?  How did our kids get from teenagers to in their 40's?  How quickly our almost 7 year old granddaughter grew from infants!

It seems that each day, week, month, year just meld into each other.  But, when we look back, there have been so many milestones, so much joy and happiness scattered with some difficult and rough moments.

We are at a time in our lives where we can truly sit back and enjoy each moment of every day.  We are content and happy.  We are healthy and active.  How quickly time passes is irrelevant.  We will take each day as it comes and thank God for granting us one more day to enjoy life.

    It's funny how even when time seems to be moving slow sudden that time is over and you wonder how it flew by.

    I'm only 23 and I'm like, "Ok, time. You can slow down not." It won't. The struggle is real lol.

SOL 18/31 - The Realtor's Came Yesterday

Yesterday, the realtor's came to look at our house.  Our realtor only brings his own people thru, so it wasn't too bad.  Max slept thru most of it until they went upstairs where he was sleeping.  He barked briefly, came downstairs, got petted and pampered a little.  They walked thru the house, in the bedroom, up the stairs, down the stairs, looked things over, asked a few questions and 15 minutes later out the door they went. Our realtor told me he has had a couple of calls - one from a neighbor (being nosy) and another from a realtor who said this house is exactly what his clients are looking for, but they had just left the day before it was listed.  But could they put in an offer sight unseen?  Really???  Is this just a realtor's ploy to make us feel good or is it real?  No offer yet, but who knows.  It could happen. Tuesday SOL 10/23/12 - Mr. Pockets goes to school

Last week there was an article in our local newspaper that I found fascinating and wanted to share it with you.  This is a story about a dog who listens as children read out loud.  It's a new program in our school district and I'm proud that our district is using this innovative program to help students learn. Animals are so loving, caring and accepting, and the students love to have someone that they can read to and to be loved unconditionally.
