Tuesday SOL - 4/4/17 - Writing Withdrawal
Saturday came along
I felt that I should be doing something.
Something missing from my daily routine.
I felt lost
It felt like having withdrawals from caffeine
I felt that I need to do something!
So to fill all that extra time that had been taken up by slicing and commenting, I started working on telling the story of the trip along with the pictures. Late Sunday afternoon, I finished. The album is complete. It helped to ease my withdrawal for the daily writing.
On to the next project.
Good for you! A very positive way of filling up your Slicing time. :) I finished my novel and I've just gotten it back from my Beta Reader. I've got to fix a few things but she loves the story! Yay!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely extra time put to good use. I like your comparison to caffeine withdrawal. Fits perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same!! It was a weird feeling. I'm glad you found a way to creatively fill the empty slicing!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful... I have some projects like that waiting on me. Over the weekend, I definitely identified the symptoms of writing withdrawal. But I'm also glad for the less intense pace of Tuesdays... posting, reading, and commenting. See you next Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI miss the daily writing, but then again I don't. That doesn't make sense, but I think you know what I mean. You found the perfect solution for filling the gap.
ReplyDeleteI too have had withdrawals connecting with everyone. I am still writing however....boy I need it. Your album sounds like it was fun to put together. I love Boston!! Did you go see the Red Sox?

agreed - i have been missing it too! i loved reading everyone's posts everyday
ReplyDeleteI also found myself in withdrawal over the weekend. In my case, writing IEPs filled the void....But that wasn't NEARLY as much fun. ~JudyK
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling .. glad you found a way to fill that hole! And look, two big accomplishments! :)
