Tuesday SOL 8/29/17 - Currently
I've been procrastinating all day or maybe it's just that nothing came to mind to write so, I'll try my "go to" when my fingers just don't know what to type.
Thinking/Feeling - My thoughts and prayers are with all of the people in Texas and Louisiana as they struggle with the over abundance of rain. I cannot imagine all that they are going through. I feel sad and frustrated that there is nothing we can do we stop the rain.
Listening - This morning as I sat on the porch, I heard the birds singing their favorite tunes, the cows mooing their morning conversation and the rooster crowing that it's time to get the day started. So peaceful.
Enjoying - Our new front porch. Our house projects are finished and we are content to just sit.
Planning - Our next adventure. This time we're heading East to Williamsburg, VA and then to visit my special friend in North Carolina and an Air Force buddy of Hubby's outside of Chattanooga in addition to lots of sightseeing.
Loving - My family of friends who we share good food, drinks and fellowship with. They make life enjoyable while my family is 10 hours away.

What a great post when nothing special comes to mind. This just shows what a full and enriching life you have. Especially like listening to the birds in the morning. They alwasy seem to have a lot to say.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you shared your post, Judy, and as you've read mine, you know I'm so concerned about the Texas flooding and those people who've had to leave their homes. I'm glad you have new plans, have finished your house remodeling. Happy Travels.
ReplyDeleteSometimes structure helps writers get their words down! I need to remember this when I have too much to write! It just took me forever to boil down too many thoughts into one short post. I love your system. Enjoy your trip!
ReplyDeleteVery nice twist to "currently." It's great to have some sure bets like this in your back pocket for busy times. I find them perfect when I'm at a loss, but want to keep my writing streak going. Safe travels, and continued prayers for our people in TX and LA. -- Christie @ https://wonderingandwondering.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteI love the way you responded in five categories: Thinking/Feeling, Listening, Enjoying, Planning, and Loving. This could serve as a paradigm for SOL Tuesday--especially those who are stumped on what to write!
